The World Champions Cup debuted in 2023 at The Concession Golf Club as a three-team international competition featuring Team USA, Team Europe and Team International. Team USA won the inaugural event before the competition moved to Feather Sound Country Club for its second playing in 2025.
Team Europe won the 2025 Skechers World Champions Cup with 230 points. Darren Clarke’s team pulled away during the final singles sessions, finishing ahead of Team International at 213.5 points and Team USA at 204.5.
The 2026 edition returns to Feather Sound with three eight-player teams. Justin Leonard takes over Team USA, Darren Clarke returns for Team Europe, and Retief Goosen leads Team International. The team with the highest point total after the nine-hole sessions wins the championship.
