2026 LIV Golf Indianapolis Final-Round Recap & Highlights

Michael La Sasso closed with a 5-under 65 to win the 2026 LIV Golf Indianapolis individual title at 18-under, one stroke ahead of Jon Rahm, while Legion XIII successfully defended the Team Championship by six strokes over HyFlyers GC.

CaddyBytes 🏆 2026 LIV Golf Indianapolis Final-Round Highlights: Michael La Sasso completed a remarkable week at The Club at Chatham Hills with a final-round 65, finishing at 18-under and defeating Jon Rahm by one stroke. The 22-year-old HyFlyers rookie showed poise throughout the closing stretch, answering Rahm's charge and converting the chances he needed to secure his first LIV Golf victory in the final event of the 2026 season.

Rahm produced the lowest round among the leading contenders, firing a 7-under 63 and repeatedly trading the lead with La Sasso during a dramatic final round. The season-long Individual Champion made seven birdies through 13 holes and pushed the winner all the way to the finish, but a bogey on his final hole left him at 17-under and one shot short.

Bryson DeChambeau also applied heavy pressure with a closing 64, while Sergio Garcia added a 65. They finished tied for third at 16-under, two strokes behind La Sasso. Scott Vincent's 65 moved him into a tie for fifth at 15-under and gave HyFlyers GC two players inside the final Top 10.

La Sasso's week turned with his bogey-free 10-under 60 in Round 2 after an opening 71. He followed it with rounds of 66 and 65, playing his final 54 holes in 19-under. Laurie Canter and Richard T. Lee joined Vincent at 15-under, with Dean Burmester eighth at 14-under and Richard Bland ninth at 13-under.

In the season-ending Team Championship, Legion XIII completed a successful title defense and finished six strokes ahead of HyFlyers GC. Rahm's closing 63 helped Legion XIII control the team race, while La Sasso and Vincent powered the HyFlyers' runner-up finish.
