The Masters Tournament remains golf’s most exclusive invitation field. Augusta National draws its lineup from returning champions, recent major winners, PGA Tour victories, amateur titles, Tour Championship qualifiers, national open champions, and Official World Golf Ranking cutoffs.

This page now reflects the projected 2026 Masters field as of April 5, 2026, with only the Valero Texas Open left as the final automatic route into the tournament.

  5. Top 12 (including ties) at the 2025 Masters
  6. Top 4 (including ties) at the 2025 U.S. Open, Open Championship, or PGA Championship
  7. Winners of full-point PGA Tour events since the 2025 Masters
  8. PGA Tour players who qualified for the 2025 Tour Championship
  9. Winners of the 2025 Scottish, Spanish, Japan, Hong Kong, Australian, and South African national opens
  10. Inside the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking at the end of 2025
  11. Inside the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking the week prior to the 2026 Masters

The projected field currently sits at 93 players. Gary Woodland earned his place by winning the Texas Children’s Houston Open, while Daniel Berger, Jake Knapp, Nicolai Hojgaard, and Matt McCarty locked up Masters spots through the final OWGR top-50 cutoff.

The Valero Texas Open winner was the last remaining automatic addition to the field, provided that player is not already qualified. JJ Spaun won that event and was already a qualified Masters entrant.

If the winner is already in the field, the Masters stays at 93 players. If the winner is not already exempt, the field increases to 94 players.
