Augusta National legend. Only caddie with 5 Masters wins (4 different players). Caddied for Henry Picard, Claude Harmon, Ben Hogan, and Jack Burke, Jr.

Willie Aitchison

"The Veteran"

Looped for Lee Trevino, Sam Snead, Tony Lema, Gary Player and Tom Watson. On the bag for Roberto De Vicenzo's 1967 Open Championship win.

James 'Tip' Anderson

"St Andrews Legend"

Caddied for Arnold Palmer (1961 & 1962 Open wins) and Tony Lema (1964 Open Championship victory).

Angelo Argea

Jack Nicklaus' caddie for 20+ years. On the bag for 44 of Nicklaus' 70 PGA TOUR wins including multiple majors.

Ernest 'Creamy' Carolan

"Palmer's Partner"

Arnold Palmer's primary caddie for 15 years, including wins at U.S. Open, British Open and Canadian Open.

Jim Dent

"Player-Caddie"

Started as Augusta National caddie at 15. Later became a pro golfer with 12 Champions Tour wins.

Willie Peterson

"Nicklaus' Masters Caddie"

Carried for 4 of Jack Nicklaus' 5 Masters victories. First looped in Masters at age 16.

Adolphus 'Golf Ball' Hull

"Floyd's Man"

Caddied for Raymond Floyd for over 20 years and Calvin Peete. Known for his work with multiple major champions.

Sam 'Killer' Foy

"Hale's Hale"

Longtime caddie for Hale Irwin. On the bag for Irwin's 1979 U.S. Open victory at Inverness Club.

Alfred 'Rabbit' Dyer

"Player's Partner"

One of the first prominent black caddies on PGA TOUR. Worked with Gary Player from 1972-1992.

Alfie Fyles

"Watson's Wingman"

Tom Watson's caddie for all 5 Open Championship victories. Legendary Royal Birkdale caddie.

Carl Jackson

"Augusta Legend"

Augusta National caddie for Ben Crenshaw. On the bag for 1984 and 1995 Masters victories.

Herman Mitchell

"Trevino's Teammate"

Lee Trevino's longtime caddie. On the bag for Trevino's final major win at the 1984 PGA Championship.

Ralph Coffee

"The Energizer"

Longtime caddie for Lanny Wadkins and Deane Beman.
On the bag for Lanny Wadkins PGA Championship victory.  Known for his high energy and work ethic.

Lorne 'Rabbit' Lebere

"Little Rabbit"

Caddied for Tom Kite, Tom Weiskopf and Hubert Green (1985 PGA Championship). Had several wins caddying on the Senior Tour.  First caddied out of service on tour 1969. 

Andy Martinez

"Miller's Man"

Johnny Miller's caddie for 12 years, including Miller's record 63 at 1973 U.S. Open.  On the sack for Tom Lehman's British Open victory. 

Lyn Strickland

"The Strategist"

Caddied during the late 1970s and 1980s. 'Clint Eastwood' (Dirty Harry) cool demeanor. Vietnam Veteran.  Looped for many top players including Ben Crenshaw.

Dan Stojack

"The Veteran"

Caddied during the late 1970s and 1980s. On the bag of Scott Simpson for 1987 US Open win at the Olympic Club.  'Dirty Dan' orignally from Chitown.

Mike Mazzeo

"The Strategist"

Renowned for his precision and expertise during the 70s-80s golf era.  18 Years on Fuzzy Zoellers bag and for Fuzzy's US Open victory over Greg Norman.

Russ Craver

"The Pro"

Tour Caddie par excellance many wins including Larry Nelsons' PGA Championship at the Atlanta Athletic Club 1981.

Eric Swartz

"The Pro"

Came out during the 70s-80s golf era. Claim to fame is his golf game and winning the 1992 US Open on Corey Pavins bag.

Mike Carrick

"The Veteran"

Worked for Tom Kite during his formative years. Won at Pebble Beach in 1992 on the sack for Kites US Open victory there. Mike and Gypsy Joe Grillo founded the PTCA Professional Tour Caddies Association in 1980 to get better conditions for tour caddies. Created the Caddy Van that travelled the tour got hat contracts for caddies and more.

'Gypsy' Joe Grillo

"The Wanderer"

Gypsy Joe Grillo founded the PTCA Professional Tour Caddies Association in 1980 to get better conditions for tour caddies. Created the Caddy Van that travelled the tour got hat contracts for caddies and more. Gypsy ran the van was head shef and bottle washer for many years. Had wins with several players most notably the PGA Championship at Riviera looping for Steve Elkington.

Mike Hicks

"Hicksie"

First out late 70s- early 80s era. Became Payne Stewarts regular caddie and on the sack for PGA and US Open at Pinehurst in 1998 only to see that end tragically when Payne died in a plane crash post the 1999 Ryder Cup at the Country Club in Bookline.

Lance Ten Broek

"Last Call Lance"

Won on tour once as a player and made 150 or more career cuts. Then became a tour caddie and won his first week on the bag with Jesper Parnevik in Greensboro. Lance is the ONLY player/caddy to play a round on tour in the morning then caddy for Parnevik in the afternoon!

Greg Rita

"Boats"

Caddied for Curtis Strange (back-to-back U.S. Open wins) and John Daly (1995 Open Championship win).

Bruce

"Watson's Wingman"

Tom Watson's legendary caddie for 8 major wins. Partnership lasted through Edwards' battle with ALS.

Pete Coleman

"Langer's Longtime"

Bernhard Langer's caddie for 22 years. On the bag for Langer's Masters wins in 1985 and 1993.

Dave Musgrove

"Ballesteros' Buddy"

Caddied for Seve Ballesteros and Sandy Lyle. Won multiple majors including The Open Championship.

Big 'B'

"Big Brian"

Came to the U.S. to caddie in 1980 after caddying for many years on the European Tour. Had wins with Andy North; Bill Rogers; Isao Aoki; Gary Hallberg, and on the sack for a Women's British Open victory.

Nick DePaul

Caddied the European Tour in the late 70's and worked for Seve Ballesteros in his prime including many wins and a British Open and Masters victory on the bag for Seve.

Jim 'Bones' Mackay

Phil Mickelson's caddie for 25 years. On the bag for 5 major wins and 41 PGA TOUR victories.

Joe LaCava

"Tiger's Teammate"

Tiger Woods' caddie since 2011, including 2019 Masters win. Previously caddied for Fred Couples.

Tony Navarro

"Moline Tony"

First out on tour in 1979-80 he worked and won with many players. tournament wins with players including Greg Norman, Adam Scott and Raymond Floyd.

Donnie 'Wad' Wanstall

"Strange's Strategist"

On sack for many professional tournament winners in the 1980's. Worked with Curtis Strange and Mark O'Meara. Tragically then developed a neuromuscular disorder which confined him to a wheel chair. Great guy and great caddie.

Jeff 'Squeaky' Medlin

Nick Price's caddie for 1992 and 1994 PGA Championship and 1994 Open Championship.

Mike 'Fluff' Cowan

"The Mustache"

Tiger Woods' first pro caddie (1997 Masters win). Jim Furyk's caddie since 1999.

Scott Tway

"Scottie"

Bob Tways brother won with Scott Verplank among others. Most notable winner of 2023 British Open on the sack of winner Brian Harman.

Bambi

"Bambi"

Came out to caddie on tour at a young age hence the baby face nickname of 'Bambi'. On the sack for British Open victory with Todd Hamilton.

Mitch Knox

"The Strategist"

First out on tour off caddying the Nike Tour early-90s era on the sack of Charlie Rymer. Rymer lost his card and Mitch got hooked up with David Duval who was seeking his first tournament win. Mitch and Duval won their first three tournaments he caddied and on to fighting it out for #1 player in the world vs Tiger Woods for almost a decade. On the sack for Duvals British Open win at Royal Lytham St. Annes.

Steve Williams

"Tiger's Right Hand"

Longtime caddie for Tiger Woods during his dominant years. Quit school went to Europe worked his way up the ranks caddying on the European Tour eventually for the likes of Greg Norman. Got the 'sack' after Tiger sacked 'Fluff' and the rest was history. Post Tiger he also won The Masters in 2013 on Adam Scotts bag.

Many years on the European Tour many wins on Colin Montgomerys bag and in Ryder Cups as well.

Out on tour from Monterey Peninsula area in mid late 1970's. Caddied for Ian Baker-Finch and Greg Norman. Many wins different players over the years.

Came out of golf shop to work for Seve Ballesteros in early 90s had wins with Seve. After many close calls finally on sack for major win in 2022 with Matt Fitzpatrick .

Damon Green

Once a player on the Nike Tour; Damon came out to caddie starting with Scott Hoch and won Doral. Then got the job working for rookie Zach Johnson. Was on the bag for 12 wins including a Masters and British Open victory.

Glen Murray

Primarily European Tour caddie on the sack for Sergio Garcia for several wins and most notable Sergio's 2017 Masters victory.

Steve 'Pepsi' Hale

"Pepsi"

Veteran caddie got on Keegan Bradleys bag for his rookie season in 2011 and won the Byron Nelson and a major PGA Championship win at the Atlanta Athletic Club. After much success parted ways 6 years later. Hale still caddies on tour.

Ted Scott

Longtime caddie for Bubba Watson during his Masters wins. Then on the sack for all of Scott Shefflers wins and four major wins including the 2025 PGA Championship and British Open. Ted originally came out via Paul Azinger to caddy for Paul in the late 90's.
