Welcome to CaddyBytes.com’s Tournament's page for the 2016 Quicken Loans National golf tournament played at the Congressional CC golf course outside Washington, DC. This has been Tiger Wood's official PGA Tour hosted event since 2010 and is played over different venues in the greater WA. DC & Philadelphia areas. The old Booz Allen & Kemper's used to be the tour events in the DC Region then with the inception of the FedExCup this event sprung up when Jack Vickers and his International played in CO for so many years didn't want this time slot. AT & T was a previous sponsor and once was a major sponsor of Tiger Woods. Now it is hosted by Quicken Loans. Past winners with Tiger won his own event here in 2009 & '12 Justin Rose won it at Aronimink in 2010, Nick Watney in 2011, with Bill Haas, Rose again, Troy Merritt & Billy Hurley winning this event in 2016 after getting in the event via a sponsors exemption. . |
